What fun, let me tell you – from bed-jumping start to dancing finish it was quite a day for the fantastic Adam & Lisa combo &all those who came to celebrate with them.  I’d do it again in a heartbeat. So fun!

I’ve known Missy for nearly half my life. I believe that is to be celebrated. I have never met someone who is so vibrantly & directly pointing me towards Jesus.

Truly knowing her family grow has been a great joy & worth every minute of time, every close call in north Philly traffic, every interrupted phone call.

Time taken for this family photo has been long in the coming & is so valued. Some fun together at a favorite park & a few muddy toes. Priceless.

Just like the Gudz family.

If you’ve been following me at all in the brief life of my photog blog, you will track the growth of a lovely family who continues to come back for more photos.

I am so enjoying capturing glimpses of their life since I met them more than a year ago. And now,  Michael is ONE. Incredible how time flies. I’m sure his mom feels this most of anyone. *grin*

Doing senior photos in the nooks & crannies of Souderton is a new favorite way to relax for me.  It was so great to meet up with Bethe & walk around town.

There is awe to be had at the priceless tiny detail of a newly born person.  Welcome Juliet! We are so glad to have you here!

Shaina & Tim – God grant you community & grace in the great measure you’ll need to raise this small beauty.  I know you already love her well.

A first for me: Urban Engagement shoot. Which meant me getting one of those Independence Passes from Septa & heading to Philly in the morning.

New favorite way to spend 11 dollars.

In the past I have spent quality time with both Greg & Heather, yet not since they have been together.

So this spring-weather Monday was well spent as we met up at Suburban station & did some meandering from Love Park over to Rittenhouse Square.

Quality time for sure. And some delightful pictures to show for it. A growing experience and an exploratory one.

Now I know a few new places & afterwards I expanded my confidence with a quick trip to Chinatown.  I hadn’t been before & stopping for bubble tea was relaxing even without anyone to share it.

It was warm – but it was goodness-knows-glorious! How I love arriving on the scene into happiness & finding more known-to-me people than I thought I’d see! I knew I’d come to a fun party.

How good it was to be out under the trees & sunshine laughing lots with these lovely people. Of course the occasion called for lots of hugs.

I call them my hippies – particularly Heidi who worked at Wilderness Camp with me just a few years back – with Chris on staff as well might I add. They believe in social justice & handcrafted fairly traded goods; in standing up for things & biking from place to place more often. And they live that out, plus some.

Getting to know them was so much fun in the mix of a fantastic summer, then just joy stacked on top of that when they asked me to capture the story of their wedding day.

The day held excellent friends, “first look”, excellent food (Indian buffet! and DESSERT. yum), music and plenty of wisdom shared amongst everyone. Not to mention the appearance of …the ice cream truck? *grin

The day didn’t end in darkness without a good dose of dancing and a tandem ride into the dusk showered with the celebrating joy of friends & family.

An overall winning end of May. All agreed.
